Our Pro Series Heavy Duty Bases feature 6″ nipples and are designed to work with 2″ slip-fit pipe systems. Expert Tip: If you want to raise your pipe up to 20 feet but don’t want to buy the expensive super heavy duty bases, you can still use this base. Simply add extra weight to it in the form of a sandbag or two. Or you can buy some super-wide duct tape (we use black) and tape all sides down to the floor. Weight: 35lbs. Designed to support up to 18ft backdrop.
